Some bits of history here, just a pity that it's looking like generic America more and more. Hope there are still some semi-untouched sections in less populated areas. I've never been myself. Tx for sharing.

All this was in Tulsa city limits so that's to be expected. If all works out, next weekend we hope to go see the Red Barn, Pops, and a few other places on Route 66. Lunch/dinner at the Rock Cafe (has ties to the move Cars) will surely happen. There's Seaba Station motorcycle museum (old service station) which we may stop at again. No real plan other than another drive on Route 66 to get photos and let my wife become more familiar with her new video camera.
