A walk in the woods... and an introduction
Posted By: raderstudios, 04-19-2021, 01:08 PM

Hi all,

I've been shooting Pentax since I could hold a camera. Not sure why it took me so long to join this community, but I'm glad to be here now! Here's a quick shot from a recent walk in some nearby woods. I loved the way the sun setting behind me illuminated the newly emerged leaves in the background.

K20D, Sigma 70-200mm EX DG at 70mm, f6.7, 1/4 sec.

Ah .. it won't take long, then the woods here in Denmark will look the same ;-)

I look to your picture and miss the green spring even more. Here is all the time 2-3 weeks later.

Very nice image with beautiful lighting in the background. It looks like a terrific place to wander around with a camera.

Beautiful shot. Have to love how Pentax cameras render greens.

Thanks y'all! I glad to be part of the community! The woods around here are a challenge to shoot because they're so dense, and so messy. It's hard to find order in the chaos. But it's so worth it when it works!

I love my K20, though I have to admit to being tempted by the new K3iii... I've shot with Pentax, Sony, and a full-frame Canon, and of them, I think the color rendition of the Pentax is far and away the most pleasing.
