A solo dabbler can be quite flashy .

A very beautiful wildlife image. Everything really comes together perfectly. Very sharp, colorful, excellent exposure and I even find the reflection mesmerizing. Nice work.

Nice colors and the reflection on the water. Keeps motivating to save some money for a DFA 150-450...

At first this looked like a mallard drake but a shoveler was a welcomed change . Thank you kindly Tony .

Nice image, when I was working I'd take my camera with me to work and go shoot on my lunch break. There were usually shoveler's in the shallows but I never got anything as nice as this.

A beautiful "reflection" image. This bird's unusual colouring really makes it a perfect candidate for a "reflections" image.

Yes - I have only had mine a couple of months. Still learning what I can and can't do with it with this or that technique and camera settings.

Luck is always welcome when shooting wildlife. But you seem to have the skills too, finding (recognizing) a good target and composing nicely.
