Those are really cool. I thought the 2nd from left was Max Headroom but the link shows a few un-sculpted blocks.
It's a space for out door activities including music, so adds to the ambiance especially if lit up at night.

I take it they are not meant to represent anyone in particular?

I knew it was a modern take on a henge but I had to find a site with an English translation to learn a bit more. Nice shot of an interesting idea.

Any females in the statue? or has the artist just not gotten around to carving one in that unused block yet..

It's totally fictive ;-) The composer, Gunnar Møller Pedersen, made a story of "Lolerne". Should be an ancient people that came to Lolland, Denmark (where the statues are places;-) about 7500 years ago.

All in all - maybe Lolland needed a tourist attraction ;-)
