Gannet incoming

It can be tough finding a landing space in the colony.
This short telephoto lens is a favourite of mine, although unfortunately APS-C format, so I no longer use it very often with my K1.

Wonderful capture. It almost looks like we have a time sequence of what a bird looks in flight (right top), when it is about to land (the main subject) and when it has landed (birds resting on the right).

This is on the edge of a large colony - a very busy place, and distracting to try and track a single bird to get a good image.

Indeed it is noisy! This photo only shows a fraction of the birds in the in the colony
