Good capture, would you know the species of the bee and the flower ? It is hard to get things in focus when clicking a like and active subject like a bee, let alone a bee grappling with stamens ! .

That's a common Australian Honey Bee and we call the flowers Orange Trumpets and they also come in Yellow too.

I am assuming it is handheld. It is very difficult to maintain proper lighting with a high shutter speed, hand hold close-up focus with a wide aperture, and a moving object. Though not perfect it is a good start. I myself struggle with shots like this as I tend to sway/fidget a bit at all the most important moments.

That sigma is great for macro. I suggest a higher shutter speed to freeze those bees

Very true and that Sigma 180mm Macro is heavy as well

I usually use 320 but can up that a bit I suppose
