Looks like it might be a little snail. Shutter speed was actually 1/400. Heavily cropped from 24MP original.

Interested to see what the uncropped image looks like. Really pushing the capabilities of the sensor with this crop. But good catch nonetheless. Hungry little fella.

Lots of grass, with a small red bird at the center.

This crop represents about 4% of the original image. The lens was zoomed all the way to 250mm, but the bird wasn't close.
