Not quite as big as the Grand canyon in the USA, the remote and barren Fish River canyon in Namibia is amongst the biggest in the world

I particularly like the second image with the two peaks in the distance. Nicely done.

It looks very Grand Canyon-esque. My daughter (in the photo below) and I were fortunate to have seen the Grand Canyon for our first time ever Dec. 31. It is over 1,500 miles from where we live.

We could see the Colorado River at the bottom of the canyon from here (but it is not in my photo), and it is virtually the same color as the river you show in Namibia.

I was fortunate to visit the Grand Canyon once (many years ago - back in the 80's) and hike down from the rim to the Colorado. Very impressive! (and somewhat further than 1500 miles from my home!)
