Great stuff.

That's right, Indiana Jones did get into that temple.
I found no more than 1 square room, appr. 15 x 15 meters, all solid stone walls. But, of course, I'm no professional archeologist
The stone facades are actually kings graves of the Nabatean kingdom.
I can recommend Jordan. We did shoot 1000+ pictures on this trip (half of them UW).
The UW pictures in the slideshow are made in Taba, that's Egypt, just across the border of Eilat (there where Israel has a 10km coastline between Jordan and Egypt).
If any of you are considering visiting Jordan or Egypt. Both are pretty relaxed, except for the Nile cruise area in Egypt, where you get bordered by pushy salesmen.
Otherwise, Egypt has a population of 80% Muslim and 20% Koptic christians. They have managed to live side by side peacefully for over 1300 years. You should visit Caïro and Alexandria with a local friend and enjoy the true middle east. There you can find excellent Egyptian wine and arak, though I found the Jordan arak softer.
Just beware of drinking the water in these countries, unless you are in for a permanent checkout of the local sanitairy facilities....
The middle east seems to have a negative press in large parts of western society. If that depends on the locals living there, they have proven to us otherwise many of times. We should never mix up some regimes and a few local extrmists with the population of these countries.
We had a great time.
