Lens: Sigma 105mm 2.8 EX DG MACRO Camera: K-3 Photo Location: Belfast
Posted By: Shenloanne, 05-07-2021, 03:31 AM

So a bit of a story here. She was a bit dopey and a bit lost in my bathroom and I brought her out to the garden and let her have a bit of honey.

First time I've used this lens on my K-3

Beautifully captured, with amazing sharpness. I would be interested to hear how you illuminated the subject.

Great photos! As others have said, the lens seems to have performed very well!

Natural light on the full body shot but I can't remember if the flash fired on the head shot. It was late evening.

The head shot is iso 2000 and you can still see the compound eye.

A sweet break. | Emmanuel Diver | Flickr is the Head shot.

Great pix, wonderful story and I'm happy to hear that you tried to get her on her way, with a taste of honey,

BTW, do you know if she survived ?

Nice of her to stay still for this shot. Good use of the macro lens.

I did go out looking and she was nowhere to be found. I can only assume that yes she flew off on her way.
