Heard from the locals that some part of this area used to be forrest once. Now not.
What I see is - mostly farm lands , but now slowly getting surrounded by the developing housing societies and high rise apartment buildings.
I see farmers here, in this state, burns the paddy straw or the stubble after the harvesting is done - to fertilize the land.
And it is quite interesting to watch though this practice is harmful for the environment.
It happens so quickly that I never got a chance to get close and photograph it.
About this particular evening - even though it was not so close but I was able to capture the flames because it was windy that evening.

Yeah it is unhealthy, pollute air and damage the environment as well. But for the farmers the ash works as fertilizer.
