I like the dark negative space to to right, it helps isolate the subject and allows it to shine. Nice composition.

Interesting how the ones in the front and back seem in focus but the middle one is slightly blurred. Was it moving?

I really cannot say as this image was taken nearly three years ago. However, that would be my guess.
