I've been waiting for a rocket launch at the NASA's Wallops Flight Facility in Virgina, but the weather keeps it from happening. I practiced getting a shot of an airplane, using a one-second exposure. I used a two-second time delay, so I had to estimate where to set up the tripod ahead of the plane.

Interesting shot - has a sense of speed to it. These kinds of shots are notoriously hard to do - so keep practicing. And make sure to share the launch photo if you get the opportunity.

Difficulty is compounded when your tripod settles a little further after tightening it up. Thanks for the comment.
