We had a short break from work and went to the island of Texel for three days. Shot this one the first evening...

This is a lovely composition with the serene colours in the sky and the wide open expanse of beach creating negative space to complement the lighthouse and people.

A productive location I feel and worth visiting at various time and with more people in the scene. Nice shot too.

Wow those sky colours are great and I like how simple the rest of the scene is. It's peaceful

Beautiful work.

There seems to be a subtle vertical line to the left of the lighthouse, do you know what caused that? A filter perhaps?

What a terrific location. The use of the wide angle lens and inclusion of people enhance the the feeling of an expansive landscape beautifully. Composition is perfectly balanced. Thumbs up.

Thanks! And thank you for your comments. It's a flaw in my PP, I'm afraid, some dodging and burning, and not too much precision...
