Very nice, Rob. The shots have remarkable clarity and 3-D effect. I can't the K3iii just yet (let alone the 150-450) but you have got me thinking.

The aperture was a bit narrower than I'd have preferred, but that has helped isolate the bird from the bokeh. So far I haven't seen any evidence that the camera is recognising eyes, but it is generally working really well with the big lens. The photos (or at least the hit rate) should improve once I figure out the right settings on the camera. I'm still sad that I missed out on some close shots of finches yesterday due to a phone call. Time for a walk at lunch!

PS If it wasn't for the DFA 150-450, I would have bought a Canon DSLR.
