It was only when linking it to here that I noticed the image was 1000 ISO. It wasn't so long ago when I resisted going over 400 ISO!

Thanks! The low noise at high ISO is helpful since I can't use DXO Photolab 4 with the raw files.

Your focus in this shot rivals the concentrated "focus" in the bird's eye! Excellent feather detail.

Thanks! Yes, I know a photo is sharp when all the details appear. Bear in mind that it's close to minimum focus, but even so the bird is so small that it's not full frame. One of the photos of the female Fairy-wren was right to the edges of the frame.
