Morning sun
Lens: 35 mm Pentax Camera: K-70 Pentax Photo Location: Kensico Dam, Westchester, NY ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/80s Aperture: F9

Trying to capture the morning sun at Kensico Dam reservoir. Some light reflect on the still water. First time I took a shot at the rising sun, not sure where to aim it.

I'm mostly limited to sunsets. In my retirement I've found it easier and easier to sleep in. Nice shot.

Shots into the sun are tricky. Definitely an advantage of digital over film to be able to try a variety of settings. (which really makes me appreciate the film images that got it "right")

Nice shot. I've never shot at Kensico but live close to the Croton Dam and go there quite a bit.

Great shot of Croton Dam. Catching the rainbow on the bottom. I could feel the water rushing as I look at those image.
