I like the fine detail and structure in the further most petal, the color is nice too and not over saturated. Those prickles though, oooph you don't want to fall against that!

Green and yellow make a beautiful color combo. Shallow DOF looks great.

Wonderful photo, Todd! It's amazing how the fauna of the hill country differs so markedly from that of the coastal plain.

Thanks Dave! I really wanted to capture the background flowers completely out of focus so went wide open for the shot.

Thanks Jer! I can't tell you how happy we are that we moved here. The hill country is absolutely amazing right now, and these farm roads are a lot of fun to drive on and see the beauty. You need to get your Porsche out this way and turn it loose.
