Horse with no name
Posted By: JMR, 11-24-2008, 09:39 PM

Some of you may recall a song by the Eagles called "Horse with no name." I could not resist that title for this image. It had just rained which brings to mind the other line in the song, "it felt so good to be out of the rain."

JMR,
I like it. Powerful image of the horse plus the orange tree sets it off. Well done mate.

Thanks. I'm off to dream of more landscapes. Have to get some sleep so I can work tomorrow.

That is a fairy tale picture.

So soft and dreamy. I love it.

Gorgeous scene. Like James said, "Fairy Tale picture", I can imagine a castle off to the left out of shot and a dense forest in the distance to the right.

Beautiful!

A different and beautiful shot JMR.

Twasn't the Eagles, though. It was America. One of my favorite songs back 30 plus years ago.

It was written by Dewey Bunnell, who still tours with America the last I heard. Anyone know if he's related to Ned???

Exactly! Only the one horn is missing from the forehead of that nearly unicorn creature!
