I magnified the upper righthand corner of the image 4X to show some "color fringing" visible around the tree branches shot against a whitish overcast sky. A little weakness that should not impact normal day-to-day photography but a weakness that it is better to know to help us avoid these situations. The picture remains quite sharp and contrasty overall despite this little glitch.

I'd think one click in Lightroom would eliminate this. Not bad performance at all, especially at the price point.

Up to now, this lens has produced remarquably good images, nice uniform sharpness, beautiful color rendering, deep contrast and absence of veiling flare. CA seems more prevalent in the wide-angle range. Now I know what to "avoid" ... lol !
