A 30 minute photo shoot with.........
Lens: 300*+1.4 TC Camera: K3ll Photo Location: Airdrie, Alberta ISO: 1600

.......with a Great Blue Heron. We met and took a few preliminary shots...







....but than decided, even so it was a bit of a walk....





to change location for the final Beauty shot

As per your usual...exceptional.

I note the eye of the GBH is very sharp. I'm guessing that is the focus point you use.

Great shots. That Great Blue Heron should be charging session fees.

Amazing bird. And once again, the high Iso quality of the P3x comes in handy with such a long setup. Excellent!

Excellent detail in all shots. Lighting was good and your captures caught very nice profiles of this beautiful bird.

Nice shots! It looks more like a Blue Heron than a Blur Heron though.

No worries! I assumed that it was autocorrect. I have plenty of photos of blurds. I took some last night when it was too dark for 6400 ISO. Your photos on the other hand are sharp.
