For those of you who saw my Japanese sword fighting demonstration pics, you know that recently I went to the NY Botanical Gardens to see their fall Kiku (Japanese Chrysanthemums) show. Here are a few more shots from the show. Don't worry about enough shots! I've got hundreds! (from last year too) But just for now I'll give you only 6. Enjoy!

Tamron 28-75 F2.8

Pentax FA 43mm ltd. I like how you can barely see the black and orange koi under the reflection of the reeds, one of the shots I chose for the Zen like feel it gives me

Pentax FA 43 ltd. These blossoms were about 3 inches across. Huge and arrayed in diagonal rows so that the overall impression was alternating colors. But I liked the DOF of this framing.

Again the 43 ltd. Underneath the umbrella. It's too bad this lens is so poor!

Same lens. They had some lovely Japanese maples in full fall color. Again this shot has a very Japanese feel to it

Tamron 90mm F2.8 macro. I'm becoming convinced that you can't take a bad picture with this lens. Afternoon sun starting to slant a bit and yellow a bit. But nice reflections!

I'll post more as soon as I get them processed.

Thanks guys, I must admit that even tho zooms are easier, I prefer working with primes. The 43 is such a joy to work with, and of course my Tamron 90 almost always sees some action when I go out shooting.

Tamron 28-75 F2.8

This one has my favorable composition and the colour is outstanding. Salty is striking again with floral pics!

Sentimental with a lot of mood. I am more keen on this style of shots these days as photography can capture beautiful light to render mood.

Again the 43 ltd. Underneath the umbrella. It's too bad this lens is so poor!

Pattern here is fantastic too. I love this one as well.

Do you know that I cannot have enough salt that I took more than 50 gram of salt a day while the recommended salt intake is 8 gram per day?

Nice to see you back in the forum too

Salty, Excellent series with all of these shots but the second shot is really good. Love the fish and the colours with the reflections. The 4th shot is a knockout. Excellent.

Great series, I specially like the second, fourth and fifth photo, for their simplistic nature, that reveals just the essential!

Durn it Salty! I just order the 77Limited and you post outstanding shots with the 43, the one I don't have:-). They look really good, I love the second shot and the third is very cool.
I'm starting to think you can't take a bad pic with any of your lens:-).
