Huckleberry Botanical Regional Preserve

Huckleberry Botanic Regional Preserve | East Bay Regional Parks
I took these by the side of the road at the entrance to this park. Although a few hundred feet up, this area was once at the bottom of the ocean.
The rock shots clear shows the strata built up layer on layer.

Nice series, Gary. I like the natural color in these. #3 and #4 are my faves...

Gary,
Nice series. I like 4. Sort of like tree rings but rocks. Shot 3 is also a cracker, but reminds me of mankinds need for wood. Ha, as I type to you from a keyboard over a wooden desk.

Still angry Pete

Alan, Ivan, James and Pete, thanks for looking and commenting. I haven't ventured in to the preserve because I always have my dogs with me and they are not allowed. I must make the effort, especially now that it has started raining, the rocks will have that extra property.
