Wonderful shots. How did you get so close with a 50mm lens? Shooting through a window? Heavily cropped?

Thank you everyone. Yes, I am shooting through a window. The feeder is right on the other side of the glass.The camera is almost as close as the closest focusing distance of the lens. Here is a bonus shot.
