I was there 3 years ago to the day : June 14, 2018. OWENS VALLEY, CALIFORNIA.
Lens: 8.8 to 220.0 mm lens Camera: Canon G3X Photo Location: California ISO: 160 Shutter Speed: 1/200s Aperture: F5.6
Posted By: RICHARD L., 06-14-2021, 07:27 AM

Side road leading to the south shore of Mono Lake, Owens Valley, California. With a view towards the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range and Route 120 into Yosemite Nat'l Park. Canon G3X uses a Neutral Density filter and permits more normal shutter speeds at middle apertures. The optimum is f/5.6 for this particular lens on a 1 inch 20 Mpx sensor. Focal Length was 28 mm, equivalent to 77 mm in FF.

I like the wide-openingness of the scene. Corrected the color cast.

The color cast correction makes this photo appear much better. It is a very nice scene.

Sorry, my color vision is not normal (van Gogh syndrome). I see the corrected version is more saturated.
