It's a good area for bald eagles, osprey, blue herons, ducks and some smaller birds that I haven't checked out as much. This trip, there was also a turkey vulture and a cormorant hanging around. I hadn't seen either of those there before. In the past, I've seen as many as 8 bald eagles soaring. This trip, it was the 2 that I think are always there.
