This evening was particularly "delicious". I almost never get out of the house because of COVID fear. But I took a drive to the shore and saw a really low tide as the Great Lakes and the St Lawrence are at record minimum levels. We received almost no snow last winter and this spring has been exceptionally dry, so the river discharge is highly reduced. There was a lovely pungent wind bringing odors like you smell near the ocean ("Varech", we call this, French for seaweeds). The day ended past 20h30 as the Solstice will happen very soon. Indeed this looked like a piece of paradise. Regards |
