low key still life

since christmas is down the corner, i experimented on the nativity of baby jesus....used pentax k100d 18-50mm kits on tripod at 6 seconds....used a off shoe flash with about 4 burst to lighten the child jesus...kinda like strobist style here

That's a really nice shot but I don't think it's nativity material, it actually seems a bit spooky to me. Probably why I like it.

made exposure on the candle lantern at 6 sec and i burst some lights at baby jesus on a off cam flash (ir triggered) with 4 burst of flash to 128 ev at flash to light it.....

I like what you've achieved here. I don't like the white boarder line at all though.

Nice! Hard to get that point were there is enough light and it still looks like night, like does in the dark. Good work here.

Very nice and good imagination as well as forethought.
The white border might not be so bad if the outer black border wasn't so big.
Also, maybe the lantern could have been smaller.
