I find that the K-5 IIs can do an excellent job if I use the proper settings. With the aperture set to F/13, I give my subject an effective depth of field, and the 1000 speed shutter can catch the movement well. The Sigma 150-500 DG OS (for Pentax) is capable of quite a lot.
I have a K-3 II and a K-1 II, but I use them for other types of shooting (landscape, people).
