Thanks and yes I think so too. They started on flats that with low tide are above water and had great succes with that. The only problem is that the plant dies after one year and a new, yearly batch is dependent on the seeds they dispense. In spots where the plant stays under water the whole time they don't die and invest in stronger roots. And that is a whole new game to learn!

, I had a vision of you wading out on an uneven floor and tripping. A tripod fixes that problem for sure. Nice work.
I can imagine that scenario! And I have dropped a K-3 with DA16-50, battery grip and Røde microphone in deep water once. I quickly dived after it. Forgetting that I had two iPhones on me... In this case my employer provided Sony video camera was on the tripod and the K-1 with FA31 in my hand and mostly in the waterproof bag.

Thanks Jer! I thought so too and invested a lot of effort in making this possible. My day started about 2 hours driving and a ferry ride away on the mainland with a job after which I would normally stop recording new stories. But this one was special so I worked a 15 hours day to get this story too. Your national, public broadcaster liked it too so they used my story and photo:

There she is at work, concentrating on her tasl, alongside other workers , and in the background...the 'mother ship'.
Thanks Les! I only had a very limited time to get some photo's because the video is the most important part of my job. When I looked at that one photo I knew that part was over and done.
