Father and Daughter
Camera: GRII Photo Location: Robbins, NC

We beached our canoes and climbed onto a big rock in the middle of Bear Creek. I looked over and saw Adam and his daughter, quietly sitting with their feet in a puddle of rain water - a magical moment.

This is why we go to the trouble of hauling the kids and all the clobber to the back of beyond: to build memories. Memories for them and for you too, like our parents did with us. Happy days!

Yes, nothing exciting happening, just a quiet moment.

What a lovely photograph!

My daughter just turned 12 days old this morning, so this post has inspired me to try and capture photographs like this for many years to come.

Sorry, I had three sons, no daughter's until two of them got married. Too used to using the term son.
