This started out as a quick snapshot from the side of the road in poor light. Lightroom really helped make a decent image. I love the scene and hope to get back in better conditions.

Have always loved coming across old places like this. Great cloud patterns.

I does look like it was a very nice house in it's day.

Me too. While not the subject of the image clouds can add a lot of interest and drama.

I think so too. This was shot midday with poor lighting conditions. I want to get out there in the evening during the golden hour.

I'm old enough to have shot a lot of Kodachrome 25.

Thanks everyone for the comments.

This looks like a nice location, I guess it is abandoned due to lack of work.

Go inside that old house; there'll be lots of good images in there, I'll bet. Especially in B&W.
(If you know Kodachrome 25, then you know our old B&W days!)
Angky.

It's been abandoned for years. Most likely the property was bought by a bigger farm operation.

Nope. It's all posted, private land. The picture was taken from the road and that's as close as I can get.

Lovely
It's a little SW of Spokane, WA along I-90, near but not quite in the Palouse area which is known for rolling hills, old farmhouses and barns.
