Three Images - Blue-Faced Honeyeater
Lens: PENTAX-D FA 150-450mm F4. 5-5.6 ED DC AW Camera: Pentax K3 iii

I must be in danger of being accused of overdoing posting images of this particular species, but what can I say? I can't help myself - it is such a striking bird, and I think I didn't do too badly in these recent 3 captures.
The first two in my Moonlight Grevillea bush, the last in a tree in my neighbour's front yard across the road from my own home.

These three were all handheld shots.
It had been raining for the first two shots, so the bird's plumage is a little wet from brushing against the wet blooms!

It is a striking bird! So please do continue posting images. What maybe common around your area is something others may never see in person.
Great images!

It’s a beautiful bird. No wonder you shoot it that much. The color palette of the first photo is absolutely fantastic.
