Reflection on the left at the base is pretty darn cool -the leaves are distinct.
I'd be tempted to try another light or reflector on the handle side to try for the same thing or less shadow... but I'd probably mess up a near-perfect image.
Are you the artisan? It's a lovely piece.

I didn't notice that. Thanks for the comment. I used two flashes, one through an umbrella above and one at the left with a "MagGrid," a flash accessory with narrows the beam. The reflection would be nice to repeat and manipulate. I am the artisan. Thanks.

Hey, it really is a great photo. Turns out I have a MagGrid in a box in the basement somewhere... I'll have to put it to use sometime. Thanks for sharing the secret.
