Nature Pretty Bug - is that possible?

Pretty Bug - is that possible? · **3 Likes**

This past week, we ran 'Camp Granada" for our younger daughter's dog while she and her husband went to Orlando. The last day, he sniffed at some bushes on the path to the dog park - and my wife noticed this "pretty bug" on its leaves - so I had to photograph it, of course.

"Nice shiny beetle' is exactly what my wife thought and why I worked for a few minutes to figure out how to photograph it.

I still hope to hear soon from the local authorities - I even sent them this 'great' photo {that I worked so hard to get with the equipment I did have}.

I finally heard back from the city yesterday.

In summary, they haven't seen a problem, either at the park or in the city in general.
As someone whose garden is within a few miles of the park, I certainly hope they are right,
In any case, I'm glad I know what to look for now.
