Thanskgiving sky
Posted By: Damn Brit, 11-28-2008, 02:08 AM

We were invited to a relatives house for thanksgiving dinner. The afternoon started with a hiccup, we got half way there and my wife remembered she had a candle burning. It was a grey and murky afternoon and our drive was a winding road over the hills, we were half an hour late.

Then, just as we were about to sit down to dinner, glorious sun broke through the clouds to light up the bay.

Great shots Gary! I like the graphical nature of this series, can't really choose among them, all are great!

These shots are very beautiful. A different kind of lighting altogether.

Wow, Gary - what arresting shots! They have a "Science Fiction feel" about them - if that makes any sense.

Gary,

These are awesome!

All I got during Thanksgiving was pictures of the relatives.

Thanks Eaglerapids, Marc, Seaain, Ray I really appreciate your comments. I was pretty excited when I arrived at my wife's aunts house and saw that scene.

Gary, apologies, I missed these.

Stunning mate, in fact quite beautiful.

Peter

PS - Had a chuckle about the wife and the candle, only because I've done it.
