I've had this happen to me twice in the past month! Well one was a dragonfly the other a damselfly

I've had them land on my hand and just look at me. Sometimes they are very friendly.

A terrific capture for sure. My dragon fly shots always seem to have a busy background.

Serendipitous...great capture! I was just thinking, hey, I haven't seen any dragonflies recently, then yesterday, dozens and dozens of them in the neighbor's yard. Must be a fresh crop of mosquitos over there. And now, today, this fine portrait of one!
