Oh, come on. How does that song go? "The bluest skies I've ever seen are in Seattle..." (I'm probably dating myself a bit there. )

I think it's partly the elevation, and partly the polarizing filter. It really was a bluebird day and I don't remember adding a lot of saturation.

Thanks! We were attending an event at the top of the mountain and were expecting to ride the chairlift but they didn't allow dogs so we hiked instead.

Sounds great! I gather it's a ski resort in winter. We drove through that way many years ago on the way from Glacier national park and Kalispell to Spokane. It's a beautiful part of the world.

Yep but I haven't skied there in years, it's gotten too expensive and upscale. They're now open in summer for mountain biking and sight seeing.

Sounds very similar to here. Thredbo ski resort also has Mountain Bike trails using the chairlift to get to the top.
