A beautiful calm morning as the day dawned over north eastern Vancouver Island. This is looking out over the Cormorant Channel towards Cormorant Island and Alert Bay, British Columbia, Canada. Taken from Sointula, on Malcolm island at around 6 am.

Pastels and Pebbles!
The "minimalist" wave in the foreground really works wonders, repeating the island's silhouette.

Lovely soft light and colour. I’d suggest cropping much of the empty sky off to emphasise the parallel horizontal lines in the foreground ripples and horizon & islands.
