A Monarch Paid A Visit

Beautiful. And sad because pichaser says, their numbers are dwindling quickly.

WOW!!! You got a photo of a Monarch!!! Sorry for my excitement. And a beautiful shot it is. Treasure that moment and this image. The numbers of Monarch across the country have fallen dramatically. Especially the Western Monarch population. Those west of the Rocky Mts. In the last 20 years their numbers have dropped by 98%. I've said this before but feel it needs repeating. Nice work Todd. And congratulations.

Good catch. Haven't seen any Monarchs here yet. They should show up soon. Thanks for sharing this photo of a beautiful butterfly.

Very nice and a rare specimen. We hardly see any around here in the North.

Wow, my wife was calling me to see a Monarch the other day. I was busy trying to shoot something else. Now I regret not rushing over there. Great shot!

Thanks so much Dave! I could not believe my luck when this beauty flew up and landed right in front of me. I may have seen a few flying around this summer, but until yesterday never with my camera.
