Beayoutiful exposures.... Thanks for sharing

What exactly are "ICM" fireworks..?

Also, do you recall parameters like focal length, aperture and shutter speed, or were these captured using Bulb Mode?

I see dramatic and deliberate movements are paying off, very nice TFS.

Thanks! "Intentional Camera Movement" If you click on the image, it links to the image on my Flickr, and there is EXIF and stuff. And yes, Bulb and a corded release. All on f8 and ISO100 because they were mostly several-second exposures.

Thanks! It does, lol. I've been messing with this kind of fireworks shots since 2013 I think.

"Ahh Hah, I see now" ..said the Blind Man..!! Thanks for the clarification on ICM ... I have taken a few unintentional ICM pix while fiddling with my tripod while trying to take some fireworks pic's this year, but nothing like your fantastic photo's ..!!

I started experimenting with Bulb Mode last year and used it exclusively this year for fireworks.. and came away with some pretty interesting results that I will have to try to post soon.

Thanks! Yeah, Bulb is The Way for shots like this, I've found. Hahaha, I do plenty of unintentional camera motion photos.

Here are some regular non-ICM images from the same spot.

It's amazing how much DR you can pull from a K3.3 shot.
