Obviously not much then... five hours on and not a peep.

It's been kind of quiet today. Maybe everyone is out shooting.

Nice series! My attempts at this sort of abstract always seem to fail.

Aye these images are all elements of the same vehicle... I'm thinking of making a surprise presentation of this triptych to the owner.

I guess that it may be more special hopefully to him.

Yes strange really... normally the weekends are a bit more lively around here.

Patience, my good man, the Holy Roman Empire wasn't built in a day, never mind 5 hours. It is a difficult artform, the triptych, especially with our modern singlemindedness and short attention spans. In your fine example, I really like how you have given us three different glimpses of a classic automobile, using three very different perspectives that reveal as little as possible of the car itself, except for its character.

We're more the head down and get stuck in kinda guys... we'd have got Rome done in no time.

Thank you for your exceedingly kind words.

Thought they were from the same car but couldn't reason it out. I'm sure it will be appreciated by him. Thanks for the explanation.

I like every image on its own and I like the combination of picture 2 & 3, but I think I would exclude #1 from this series, because it shows too many details of the surrounding cars and the room, while the other images concentrate only on the details of a single car.

I think that works pretty well and looks good. I recently completed a couple of triptychs to replace some standard ikea prints in the bathroom which I was sick of looking at. I found it to be a fun project, which I'd probably repeat.

My only comment is, good look finding a frame that fits that! Or have you already got one?
