Nice shots, kiddo70.

BTW, Chas, going by the shape of the shell and the length of the front nails (claws) I would say that is a female Red Eared Slider.

Like the photos, especially the first. Took some similar photos a couple of days ago, but the water was near that clean.

I am not a zoologist nor do I know much about turtles, hence my inability to determine the sex of one. lol Thanks for letting me know though, I learned something today.
