Thanks everyone! I couldn't do this without the Pentax (or another) intervalometer. I had it taking one long exposure after another, to see if I could capture a nice bolt. So happy with the result.

Great lightening capture. I've attempted this many times and it is hit or miss. Miss most of the time for me. It's good to have a very active storm. Thanks for sharing.

Well you certainly caught "....a nice bolt". Very impressive. How long were your exposures?

For a while I was doing 10 second, and then I moved to 20 second exposures when it got really dark out.
