This iceberg with a bright crack reminded me of the beautiful Leonard Cohen song 'Anthem', with the line - “There is a crack in everything, that’s how the light gets in”

Interesting shot. Just the illuminated crack itsef would make a nice image. But loooking at the cracking, I don't think I would want to be standing on the edge.

Chilling. The crack did indeed let the light in. I wouldn't want to be in a small boat if that thing decided to calve off a small office building.

That looks massive. Unfortunately, or maybe fortunately, there is nothing in the photo to show the its relative size. Very nice capture.

it would be - this was taken during a December cruise, pre-pandemic of course

photo was taken from high up on a Seabourn ship - the height of the berg was close to that of the ship
