The lighting almost suggests a studio shot. That's a technical sucess!

It is a very cool shot. The shell has some intricate patterns and colors.

It's as big as a watermelon! Ok... it's cool, intricate, and well lit, yet... I have no sense of scale

Their shells do have a beautiful pattern to them. I wonder who the first person was that said "you know, with a little garlic butter those things might not taste half bad."

Australian snails--that one--has more interesting patterns than the theivin' buggers that clip off my tomato seedlings!
Thanks for a good shot to show what I've been missing.
Won't need to see any more of them, though!
