In the rainforest
Camera: iPhone

I am lucky to be the owner of about 70 acres of forest including rainforest, purchased about 40 years ago to protect it from clear-felling. It's a special place for my family, but it is also a home to Tasmanian Devils, Eastern Spotted Quolls, various birds including Masked Owls, and the truly remarkable Giant Freshwater Crayfish.

What a great place! Do you have any trails through it? I like this shot. Shooting into the sun is probably a weakness of a phone camera, but it did pretty well.

This area looks to be a great habitat. It's notable that you purchased it for that purpose. Thanks for sharing the photo and backgroud .

Good for you in protecting such a beautiful area! I envy you owning such property. The pic shows very clearly how beautiful that area is.

I like how the flare renders. It adds to the picture, I think.

There's an old logging road leading to an old timber bridge that succumbed to the elements a few years ago. We hope to put a few foot paths in to key spots and leave open as a private reserve

What wonderful foresight to purchase that land. It looks like a magical place with endless opportunities.

A very nice forestry capture and kudos to you for helping to preserve an area that by now would have succumbed to several bulldozers. Thanks very much.
