Perhaps a Swamp Harrier
Lens: 500mm Camera: Pentax K1 mkII Photo Location: Arm End, Tasmania Shutter Speed: 1/2500s Aperture: F11

Went out looking for a Sea Eagle, but a close encounter with this raptor was a special treat, one of a pair hunting over the dunes - taken from a lying on back position

That's a beauty - the lighting really makes the tail feathers and wings pop! So far all I've been able to get are birds sitting around in trees (which I am OK with because you have to start somewhere!)
