A Sampling of Photos from todays visit to the Hendrix Nature Preserve
Lens: Sigma 170-500 DG Camera: Pentax KP Photo Location: Hendrix Nature Preserve ISO: 250 Shutter Speed: 1/640s Aperture: F6.7

It's been slim pickings at the NP, but found some wildlife to photo today.

Wow! I think you probably need to leave your camera at home so that you can enjoy the stroll through the nature preserve!
But it sure is entertaining for us to see what your camera saw.
I really liked the dragonfly shot, but hated the snake shot, though it was impeccably done. (Did you pose him there by hand?)
Now, the tail on the turtle......!

Thanks for your comments. The Snake is a non-poisonous diamond back water snake.

Nice work! Enjoyed everyone of them. My wife and I recently discovered a National Wildlife Refuge near us. Have only been there a couple of times so lots of acres still to explore.

This preserve is not that large and is located not too far from Interstate 40. Get out to explore the refuge and share your photos.
