Another Chilean wreck
Lens: zoom at 190 Camera: K5 Photo Location: Puerto Chacobuco Shutter Speed: 1/750s Aperture: F4.5

This hulk is sort of moored in a fjord in southern Chile, and has some scaffolding on one side - a restoration project? Built in Dundee 1911 - seems to have come to grief in 1968

A good project for the handyman? Good shot though.

Seems a little past restoration I'm surprised that it is still in one piece after all these years.

Excellent shot of the rusted wreck. You wonder how many decades it would take to rust completely through.

I think it ready Chabeli - a girl's name. Perhaps the graffiti artist wishes she was there

It's beached near a small port in a sheltered inlet - so it might be around for a while

I just tried to post my wreck on the rust thread but the site wouldn't let me because it had already been posted here

Oh, that must be some limitation when an image is posted as an attachment - I don't think I've ever done that. I always post images as image links to another site (usually Flickr or a photo album here on PF). Then you can cross-post to your heart's content (as long as it's relevant, of course).

Edit:
You can embed an attached image in another thread, as described under point 5. here: https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/3-site-suggestions-help/258842-how-uploa...tart-here.html

Very nice shot. You have a great eye for an interesting subject.
Thanks.
